The gym professor explained to us that there are these things in your muscles that break apart while you work out. So when your muscles start to hurt, and you can feel the burn, these things are breaking. When the work out is over, they come back together and form a stronger bond and make that muscle stronger. When you workout again, they break back apart and come back together stronger and stronger each time.

I see this in everyday life. Certain situations make us break down, like the things in the muscles, and they hurt. But by the time those situation end, we feel better, but at the same time we become stronger. With every bad situation we face, we break down, but every time we come back stronger and stronger, just like the muscles.
